Families in Wokingham relived a classic comedy favourite as the Ollie Young Foundation fun day hosted It’s a Knockout.
The games from the hit BBC TV series was just one of the many attractions and fun activities on offer at the charity family fun day held at Cantley Field in Twyford Road.
Hundreds of families gathered on Sunday, August 14 to make the most of the sunshine with guests grabbing a bite to eat from the barbecue before tackling the foam and giant obstacle courses.
For guests who didn’t fancy the the thrills and spills of It’s a Knockout, there was the dual sweeper and the dash ‘n’ grab hungry hippos.
The Ollie Young Foundation was set up by Sarah and Simon Young in memory of their son.
The Wokingham schoolboy died in February 2012 just one day before his sixth birthday of a rare brain tumour.
Sarah and Simon took to Facebook to thank families and volunteers for their support.
They posted a message saying: “Wow, we are so proud of all the volunteers that helped the day run so smoothly and overwhelmed at the support of the community. Thank you to each and every one of you, see you next year!”
