Our Supporters

A huge thank you to the following organisations that are currently supporting the Ollie Young Foundation as their nominated charity of the year.

The Wokingham Word

The Wokingham Word is an A4 monthly magazine, delivered FREE to 25,000 local residents across Wokingham, Winnersh, Finchampstead, Crowthorne and Arborfield.

“The OYF is a charity very close to my heart. As a fellow local mum of boys, I was incredibly moved by Ollie’s story, still am today, and I’m always impressed by the ongoing efforts of the foundation to help others. It’s a privilege to support them through the Wokingham Word and I always will. In 2020, probably the toughest ever year for charities, the OYF was my Chosen Charity and we raised over £1000. My readers responded so generously to the publicity and stories we ran, despite not being able to hold proper events. Clearly, the OYF is charity close to the heart of Wokingham as a whole.”

10 Degrees

10 Degrees is a software development agency that specialises in the design, development and ongoing care for WordPress websites and bespoke web apps using Laravel.

During 2018 and 2019, the fab team at 10 Degrees gave up some of their precious time to develop the new OYF website.

The Association has been supporting the OYF with fundraising, as its nominated charity of the year, since 2013!

The purpose of the choir has evolved into one of providing support to other charitable organisations, and each year the Choir supports a particular charity.

Former Charity of the Year Partners

We’ll never forget the great contributions from all companies that previously nominated OYF as their charity of the year. We wouldn’t have been able to get to where we are today, funding vital research and support without this fantastic fundraising.

Hilton St Annes Manor, Bracknell, chose the Ollie Young Foundation as its charity of the year for 2018/19.

Digity chose OYF as its charity of the year for 2018.  Taking part in the London-to-Brighton cycle ride amongst other events, Digity raised over £1,400 for OYF!

Datto nominated the OYF as its charity of the year for 2017. With really active involvement, Datto employees produced branded sunglasses and yoyos which they then sold at the 2017 summer funday. They were also active in money collecting at Tesco – here are Georgina and Daisy doing a great job with lots of smiles!
