    Can’t believe another year has gone by. Reflecting on the past 12 months we feel so overwhelmed and so so privileged to have had yet another amazing year!
    Thank you so much to our invaluable charity partners, our amazing sponsors, our truly fantastic supporters, fabulous fundraisers, wonderful Olliettes, family and friends, the whole of Wokingham and beyond and last but certainly not least our super duper committee who continue to (voluntarily) work tirelessly and selflessly ...for the OYF. We are going in to 2019 feeling prouder than ever.

    Hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas?
    December has been a super busy one for us and what a way to end the year....
    with £2231.57 raised from all these events 👇🏻 in just one month (and end November)
    The Hawthorns Primary School, Wokingham Winter Carnival, 2nd Woosehill girl guides, Mizuno, Wokingham Living Advent Calendar - Sanpa, The Redan, Zizzi’s and The Ship Inn, Wokingham West Forest Round Table - Santa Float, Reading Uni English Dept, St Paul’s Junior school, Tesco... and RUDS.

    We would truly like to thank each and every one of you that were involved in making our December the most amazing, (manic) and magical one to date 💙

    Ollie Young was my nephew and he died too young. This is a fantastic charity set up by his parents ...to help find a cure for the brain tumour that killed him. In just over a year since being formed it has acheived amazing things and raised enough money to fund a 2 year research program. I support the OYF! Do YOU?! See More

    If you need to walk off any excess turkey and chocolates this Christmas how about a visit to Culloden Way in Woosehill, Wokingham.
    Claire and Jason have gone all out again this year with their amazing Christmas lights display. One thing that makes it even more special; the past 7 years they have been supporting the OYF 💙

    Last night of the Living Advent Calendar and we are going out with Multi Instrumentalist Pauly Zarb. Ship Inn 6pm be there for an awesome night.

    Pauly, origina...lly from Australia, has performed music since the age of 4. His dream to play music at a young age on an international scene became reality and he found himself living in Kentucky, USA touring the nation with his music. He has written many songs that have been played on Radio and he has performed in theatres, festivals and many concert venues. He has opened shows for legends such as Tommy Emmanuel, Willie Nelson, Keith Urban and Little Feat. He resides in Wokingham now and has become a local musician still with big aspiration's to inspire people with music.

    The Charity tonight is the Olly Young foundat...ion. OLLY YOUNG FOUNDATION

    A UK registered charity which funds targeted paediatric brain tumour research and support.It was launched in memory of the brave little boy who lost his fight against an incurable brain tumour one day before his sixth birthday and only twelve weeks after first displaying symptoms.

    7 years ago today, 21st November 2011.
    Little did we know that our lives were about to change forever.

    Over the next 13 weeks we would see our little Ollie, who was just 5 years old, put up the bravest fight of his life.
    He passed away, smiling, the day before his 6th birthday, 26th February 2012.

    Vanessa Lobato Every year on 21st November I think about that walk home from school and the conversation about going to the doctors and not leaving until you got a referral to the Royal Berks. It triggers all the milestones that run through to Ollie's birthday in February. WE. WILL. NEVER. FORGET.

    Just over a week ago we attended Trunkwell House’ 10th Christmas Fair 🎄and we had an amazing weekend.
    We loved seeing so many new faces and being able to share what OYF is all about.
    We’d like to say a huge thank you for all your donated gifts that made our tombola so much fun and looking full and fabulous.
    Massive thanks goes to all our ‘Olliettes’ for helping too - without you these events wouldn’t happen!
    And extra massive thanks go to everyone who came along to the st...all and had a go. All in all you all helped us raise a fabulous £587.30
